Who We Are

Yourdis is a price comparison platform for authentic fragrances, serving the Saudi market. The platform features a curated selection of verified, trusted online stores, allowing users to compare fragrance prices and set price alerts. We do not list counterfeit products or offers from unverified sources.

Yourdis does not sell products directly. All purchases are completed on the respective store’s own website.

Scope of This Policy & Age Eligibility

This policy applies to your use of the Yourdis app and website, whether as a guest or a registered user. Yourdis is intended for users aged 18 and older, or those who have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian, consistent with the eligibility requirements set out in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it immediately.

Guest Use — No Account Required

You can browse Yourdis, search for fragrances, and compare prices without creating an account. In guest mode, we do not collect or store any personal identifiers from you, such as your name, email address, or account data.

An account is only required if you want to use features such as saving favorites, setting price alerts, chatting with Accord AI, or setting personal preferences.

Our hosting and security infrastructure providers may retain standard connection logs (such as IP address and request times) for a limited period, solely for network security and fraud-prevention purposes. These logs are not linked to any personal profile while you use Yourdis as a guest.

Data We Collect When You Create an Account

We offer three sign-in methods: email with a verification code, Google sign-in, or Apple sign-in. When you register or sign in with email, we send a one-time verification code (OTP) to your inbox — no password is ever created or stored. In every case, we collect only the minimum data necessary:

• Email address — used to identify your account and send service-related messages.
• Display name — the default name provided by Google or Apple, or the name you choose when registering with email. You can change it at any time.
• Phone number (optional) — you may add a phone number in your account settings for security purposes only. It is never required and never used for marketing.

We do not collect your full legal name, national ID number, date of birth, or any biometric information.

When you sign in with Google or Apple, these services verify your identity and share with us only your email address and display name. We never receive your password, contacts, or any other data held by these providers. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle your data:

Personal Preferences

If you choose to personalize your experience on Yourdis, you may optionally provide preferences such as favorite fragrance families or gender. This information is used to personalize in-app product recommendations. It may also contribute, alongside other account activity data, to aggregated and anonymized analysis of usage patterns as described in “How We Use Your Data” below.

We never track your geographic location. Yourdis does not request, access, or store GPS or device location data.

Push Notifications

Push notifications are entirely optional. We only send notifications if you have explicitly enabled them and specifically requested a feature such as price-drop alerts or product availability updates.

You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app. We do not use the notification infrastructure to collect device identifiers for tracking purposes.

Sharing Data With Third-Party Service Providers

We work with carefully selected service providers to operate Yourdis, including hosting and cloud infrastructure providers, email and one-time verification code (OTP) delivery, and push notification delivery. These providers only access the minimum data necessary to perform their specific function on our behalf, and are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it exclusively for that purpose — they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we do not share it with any third party for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers may process or store data on servers located outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In such cases, we take reasonable steps to ensure the transfer complies with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) — including limiting transfers to providers that maintain an adequate level of data protection, transfers necessary to provide our service to you, or transfers made with your consent.

How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect only for the following purposes:

• Providing and operating the Yourdis service.
• Creating and managing your account.
• Personalizing product recommendations based on preferences you have explicitly set.
• Sending price alerts and notifications you have subscribed to.
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or targeted ads on behalf of any third party.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active, or as necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law, or where data remains for a limited period within secure backup systems that are recycled and purged as part of our regular backup cycle.

Your Rights Under the Saudi Data Protection Law

Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data Yourdis holds about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal requirements.
• Withdraw your consent to optional data processing at any time.
• File a complaint with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA).
• Object to the processing of your personal data in cases permitted by law.

Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The updated policy will always be available at yourdis.com along with its effective date.
